Full definition
First-Class Mail is the standard premium tier: 1 to 5 business days delivery, return-to-sender if undeliverable, and free forwarding for moves within 12 months. Used for targeted-list direct mail when speed and accountability matter. Postage runs about $0.40 to $0.55 per piece in 2026 depending on weight and dimensions.
